THE CLASSROOM 2.0 SEMINAR
Where 21st Century Learning Becomes Reality
Hosted by Troxell Communications & presented by Eduscape Learning
WHAT IS 21ST CENTURY LEARNING?
Too often educators use the phrase “21st Century Learning” and associate it with technology. Yet in order to achieve positive student outcomes, this type of learning and teaching has very little to do with technology. Planning with the destination in mind is part of a success-driven strategy to ensure that curriculum drives your technology integration plan.
DEFINING THE 21ST CENTURY CLASSROOM
Depending on what you read, the 21st Century Classroom has taken on many different definitions. This session will focus on providing a practical and seamless strategy for building the 21st Century Classroom to fit your school’s or district’s specific needs and technology planning goals. The presenters will demonstrate how curriculum-driven goals can facilitate technology integration in the classroom and advance student outcomes. Using a combination of resources including an interactive white board, document camera, student responders, and aligned education web-based educational tools and software, participants will gain tremendous insight into the most effective road to defining their school’s or district’s 21st Century Classroom.
INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD SUCCESS!
Interactive whiteboards (IWBs) are being installed in schools faster than any other technology on record. Why then do studies show that over 70% of installed IWBs are under-utilized? Aligning the right supplementary tools and educational software can make the difference between teacher adoption, or a wasted investment. Observe how award-winning educational tools can create the optimal learning and teaching environment.
